이공갤러리는 <소피 마르소의 삶과 예술가들> 이란 테마와 함께 2월의 첫 기획전으로 프랑스의 여류 사진가 나탈리 에노 Nathalie Eno의 사진전을 개최한다. 

2014년 한국에서의 국제 페스티발 전시에도 참여한바 있는 사진작가 나탈리 에노는 처음에는 패션 사진가 <도미니크 아셀망 Dominique Issermann>의 보조자로 사진가의 첫발을 내딛었지만  그녀의 초기 사진들은 패션 전문지 <마리 끌레르 Marie Claire> 와 <코스모 폴리탄 Cosmopolitan>紙에 주로 실린다. 이후 1982년 나탈리는 여러 사진 에이전시의 사진가로서 무대를 영화로 옮기면서 새로운 사진 인생을 걷게 된다. 80 여편이 넘는 영화에서 < Jean Becker> <Jerome Bonnel> < Bertrand Blier> <Yvan Attal> < Benoit Jacquot> <Agnes Varda> <Aki Kaurismaki> <Claude Miller> 그리고 <Emir Kusturica> 과 같은 최고의 영화 감독들과 콜라보하는 작업에 참여 했으며 이러한 일을 하고 그들과 함께 호흡하는 동안 그녀는 <카트린 드뇌브>, <장르노>, <삐에르 리샤르>, <샤를로뜨 게인스 브르그>, <나타샤 킨스키>, <알랭 드롱>, <에마뉴엘 드보>를 포함하여 <드빠르디>로부터 <소피 마르소>에 이르는 수많은 배우들을 촬영 하였고, 이 분야 그녀의 30년 헌신의 경력은 수 많은 사진과 은막 이면의 깊은 이해를 남기게 된다.

짤막하지만 위와 같은 이력에서 보듯 나탈리 에노는 현대 프랑스 영화사 한 가운데를 영화인들과 함께 관통하여 오면서 많은 배우 인물들을 카메라에 담는다. 하지만  이공갤러리에서 가지는 이번 나탈리 에노의 초대 기획전에서는 범위를 좁혀서 그녀가 주로 많이 찍었던  소피 마르소Sophie Marceau의 영화적 삶과 그 관계망에 주목하여 소피 마르소의 아름다움은 물론 배우로서의 삶과 동료 배우들까지를 함께 아우르는 사진을 감상 할 수 있도록 할 예정이다. 더 가능 하다면 가족사도 같이 볼 수 있는 場으로 꾸며 사진전의 내용을 충실히 하려 한다.

Nathalie Eno started her carrier as the assistant of fashion photographer Dominique Issermann, and her early photographs were published in magazines such as Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. In 1982, Dominique Issermann introduced her to her sister Aline Issermann who hired her for help with shooting the movie « Le Destin de Juliette ». In 1982 Nathalie Eno shifted to working mostly on movie sets. A photographer for the magazine Première and for several photography agencies, she worked as a photographer for over 80 films, collaborating with many film directors among which Jean Becker, Jérome Bonnel, Bertrand Blier, Yvan Attal, Benoit Jacquot, Agnés Varda, Aki Kaurismaki, Claude Miller and Emir Kusturica, to name but a few. Throughout her carrier, she has photographed a large number of actors, from Gérard Depardieu to Sophie Marceau, including Jean Reno, Dany Boon, Jean Hugues Anglade, Sandrine Bonnaire, Nasstasja Kinski, François Cluzet, Vincent Lindon, Emmanuelle Devos, Michel Bouquet and Noémie Lvosky... In order to better understand actors and how best to capture their presence, Nathalie took a step through the looking glass and featured as an actor herself in movies directed by Michel Piccoli, Pascale Ferran and Jacques Rivette. 30 years of dedication to her carrier have given Nathalie an excellent understanding of what goes on « behind the curtains », and she knows how to slip in right at the heart of things, discrete enough that she can go unnoticed and seize that fleeting instant. This intimate knowledge together with her constant open outlook on the world and others give a very special light to her photographical work.
