마당 한켠에 자리 잡은 작은 봉숭아꽃밭, 나는 엄마를 보며 웃고 있다. 엄마 주위엔 늘 작은 숲이 있었다. 이상적 세계에 대한 어릴 적 상상에 대한 추억은 지금 내 마음속에서 숲을 만든다. 숲은 자연적인 에너지이며 순수함이다. 

A small garden of Balsam flowers located in the corner of my yard,

My mom smiling at me. There was always a small garden around my mother.

Memories of ideal worlds dreamt about when I was young still make forests in my mind. Forests are natural energy and purity.

숲의 세계에서 나는 자유를 만난다. 무색 무취, 살찐 식물들, 그들만의 리듬, 문명의 가공물들과 뒤엉켜 상상의 정원을 마주한다. 

I encounter freedom in the world of forests. Colorless and odorless, chubby plants, their own rhythm. I meet with imaginary gardens that are tangled with artifact of civilization.

본성적이고 필수적인 욕망, 본성적이지만 비필수적인 욕망, 본성적이지도 필수적이지도 않는 욕망. 뒤섞여 혼잡스러워 보이는 해학적이지만 결코 웃기지만은 않은 욕망의 이야기들을 통해 모순적 인간관계를 바라보는 나의 애잔한 마음과 진정한 쾌락에 다가가려는 의욕을 얘기하고자 한다.

Desire, which is driven by human nature, but unnecessary.

I want to talk about my sadness when I see paradoxical human relationships and desire (in order) to reach genuine pleasure through stories about desires that are mixed with complex satire but not really humorous.

나는 돼지처럼 살찐 세상, 풍요로운 자연, 마음이 살찐 사람들이 되길 희망한다.

I hope to have the world that is fat(plentiful) as pigs, nature that is rich and people who have a fat(big) heart

Things that make daily life beautiful.

(그녀에게 밤의 칠흙 같은 어둠은 악이나 공포가 아니라 새로운 생명의 씨앗을 품은 모태나 자궁 안의 따뜻한 어둠 그것이다.

For SungHee, intense darkness is not evil or something to fear. It is warm darkness which is driven

from the warmth of the inside of a womb which holds the seeds of new life.

인간의기본적인욕망, 그 에로틱한 이야기에 충실하면서도 앞으로 일어날 일들에 관한 희망적 복선을

그려내고 있다.

She talks about the basic desire of humans, mainly erotic stories, using hopeful foreshadowing that is

going to happen.

모든 생명의 탄생은 어둠을 거쳐야만 한다. 그것은 단지 모든 것이 소멸한 어둠이 아니라 가능성의

씨앗을 품고있는 일시적인 어둠일 뿐이다.

Every new life has to go through darkness. This darkness is not just one that has perished completely,

but it is temporary darkness that embraces seeds of possibilities.

달은 수억 만년전부터 하루도 거르지 않고 매일밤 그모습을 드러내고 또 변함없이 `내일`을 우리에게

가져다 준다.

The moon has appeared every night, not even missing a day, for millions of years and brings us ‘tomorrow’ without any exception.

수없이 되풀이되는 그｀재생의 시간｀은 우리가 삶을 포기하지 않는한, 그리고 인간에 대한 관심을 저버리지 않는 한 멈추지 않는다.)

As long as we don’t give up our lives and our interests in humans, the countless ‘repetition of time’ will not stop.
